Leap of Faith

Moments of hesitation and release. Each painting holds a figure at a threshold -poised, uncertain, caught in the instant before commitment- answered elsewhere in the series by its counterpart: the same tension, resolved into ease. The leap itself is never shown. What interests me is what surrounds it; the held breath before, and the loosened body after.
